Plot

It follows the relationship between Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. The second in a two-part film adaptation of the Broadway musical. Wicked first announced that it would be split into two films in April 2022, with creator Steven Schwartz explaining: “The truth is, we tried for a while to make it into one film (for that) and we wanted to cut or remove things that we wanted to include and that we thought fans of the show and the story would appreciate.” He added: “It was very difficult for us to get through ‘Defying Gravity’ without a break.
